Wedding planning in full swing...YIKES!

Yesterday Ron and I put down our deposits for two things towards our wedding. The reception venue and the photographer....the stress has hit!

I always told myself that I wouldn't be the stressed out bride. That I would have most everything planned and accomplished before the 6th month so that I could enjoy every moment of being engaged with Ron. Then I thought to myself. Where am I going to store 25+ centerpieces? Where am I going to put all the table cloths? Where am I going to start storing all this stuff? The only closet that is big enough to store all this stuff is Rons game room closet...but since my dress currently is staying in Rons game room closet he wouldnt go for more wedding stuff there! haha!

Needless to say the stress has hit me with over whelming questions on a nightly basis. I have to quit worrying about how we are going to pay for this and how we are going to pay for that and just enjoy the year. Enjoy the time with Ron, friends and our family. There are so many exciting moments ahead in this year that I cant even stand it!

Im going to sit down tonight and make a calendar with deadlines on when things have to be done to calm my nerves...and save Rons sanity!

In the end it will all come out perfect Im sure :) as long as Im married to Ron I really dont care!

Im sure I could go on and on about what we have been up to. We have had a busy couple months since my last post on here. We have a busy year coming up for us. Ron will turn 29 January 21st, April we will celebrate 2 years together on the 17th, I will have a bridal shower, we will both have our last night out as single people! I will turn 26 on October 26th...Get married November 17th not to mention all the crazy wedding planning things that will come up between now and then.

I have told myself that I will blog once a week....now if that happens or not could be another story. I think it would be cool to see what progress we have accomplished with wedding planning and decorations since we are mainly going to have a DIY wedding :)

Like I said....may or may not happen....

WE'RE ENGAGED!!!

Now that I can finally share our happiness with our one reader...Im quite excited! Ron proposed to me on Monday October 17th, our 1 year 6 month anniversary! He makes me feel so special every day and I love being his fiance! And I love knowing that in a year I will be his wife :) I couldnt be more in love with my ring! Its complete with a diamond from my Mom! Something that I will cherish the rest of my life!

It has been a very uneventful, busy couple of weeks. We have had three straight weeks of weddings to attend. Although this past weekend, I didnt attend with Ron because we had double planned ourselves. So I went to the family labor day cookout, while he went to a wedding. Stephanie and Kyles was first. Kyle and I went to college together and have remained close friends ever since. My cousin Sams wedding was the next weekend. That was a fun event with the family. We all of course made it fun. Then this past weekend was Todd and Kathleen's wedding, an old friend of Rons. At every wedding we have attended this summer, the question always has come up..."So when is it going to be you two?" Conviently Ron usually gets up from the table, the funniest time was when my Uncle Tim asked him and he immediately looked at his wrist and said "Well look at the time, I need a bathroom break" Hes a funny character :) I would be lying if I said I didn't want that day to come soon, but I know I have to be patient!

Cedar Point Vacation 2011

Last week Ron and I got in the car and drove to Lake Marblehead Ohio. We camped at East Harbor State Park while there we enjoyed Cedar Point and all its amazingness! We loved it there! Its so pretty and so calm and peaceful! We decided it would be a yearly vacation!
