Kings Island

We enjoyed a nice Sunday at Kings Island, we got through the entire park by 12:30 thanks to rain. We left around 7:30 which got us home at a decent time! We had a lot of fun! We cant wait until August for Cedar Point! We love Roller Coasters!!!

Crabby Thursday!

We have had a pretty quiet week, so Thursday we decided to go out and have some fun. We chose the messiest place ever for dinner! Joes Crab Shack!

We have really been into Swamp People...you may ask what does Swamp People have anything to do with Joes Crab Shack? Well after watching their show, we got a bad craving for 1) spicy cajun food...and 2) seafood. Even though they catch mainly alligators on there, they all also have shrimp  boats as well, which is where the craving for seafood comes into play.

On Joes Menu they have a Rajin Cajun Louisiana style steam pot...BINGO! We were set. This lovely meal consisted of Shrimp, dungeonous crab, sausage, corn and potatoes. Got both the cravings fixed, enjoyed a nice date night, and then ended it all with the new episode of Swamp People. Busy...busy weekend!

This weekend we had a very productive, yet busy weekend! It all started out Friday after work we decided to have a date night, since we havent had one in a long time since my surgery. We ended up at Red Robin at the Town Center, and walked around for a little bit and did some shopping. It was a perfect night. After that we went to Chatam Tap and met my cousin Jen and her husband Robert for some drinks and conversation.

Rons truck has been messing up so Robert tried to fix it Saturday with no luck, all the while while Jen and I went to Garden Ridge and Hobby Lobby, which I found these letters...at the best HALF OFF!!

my letters arent as straight...Im going to have to work on that.

Saturday night we just hung around home and did some grocery shopping and some cleaning. We were both worn out!

Sunday we went on a bike ride, enjoyed our time until my bike tire EXPLODED! It sounded like a gun shot it was so loud! Everyone was starring! It was so embarrassing! Soupy enjoyed her time sunning in the sun coming in from having the windows open, it was fantastic! We ended the evening with a grilled out dinner with some of our best friends Jessi and Melinda :) We love spending time with them its always so much fun!

Oh and another thing. Ron the other day while waiting in the line at Steak 'n' Shake, he not hard, but hit just the right spot to destory my car clock...this is what it looks like on a good day. Lets say its 7:45...the clock says 77:45. So annoying! He felt awful!

This week has a lot on our plate...tonight we were susposed to go to a baseball game with free tickets I won from work, but I think that will be out of the question...Melindas hip is killing her, so we have to postpone it. But what really needs to happen is the bedroom get done, and the house just get cleaned and organized. Its driving me nuts!!

Cast comes off...Ron & Whitney go to WORK!!

We had a pretty exciting weekend. Since I got my cast off 3 days early we managed to get a lot of my 6 week long “I want to do this as soon as my cast comes off” list. We cleaned out my car, cleaned out the storage closet, had a successful trip to donate items to goodwill, took Marcie on a walk, grilled out, got the floors in the kitchen cleaned...the list still has about 10 items left to do on it. One being starting & finishing the bedroom, its the only room in the house that hasn’t been touched. Its turning into the room that Whitney cant relax in. Theres just so much boring going on in there!

I want to do something like this for our headboard but Im going to use fabric and cover a piece of wood then I want to put the You & Me on top, considering You & Me by Dave Matthews is our song...just makes sense.

Marcie has become a duck lover. I have more pictures on my camera, but thats at home and Im at work. This is a sweet picture of our baby girl waiting patiently for us to let her out and play with the duckies.

Shes such a sweet little baby! Who just loves to make friends with anything!

This week we have a lot of items to check off our to-do list! Hopefully we will get them all done! Then we can relax!!

We can not believe our baby puppy girl is one today. 

We love her so much and are so glad that we have her in our lives.
