The Drastic Hair Cut...

Ron has a meeting with his Center Manager and District Manager on Friday at Starbucks....so he decided he was going to cut his hair. We had been talking about it for some time...but just never had got around to it. Well Tuesday night was the night.....

This was before.......

I would say that I loved Rons long hair, it was fun to play with and I always wanted to straighten it (he would never let me....shocker) but I would have to say that the butterflies get worse after I saw this....(this picture isnt the best, Im pretty sure he deleted all the ones off my phone so that I wouldnt show people....)

And after.....

Ron isnt a big fan of his short hair, I told him last night that every big event in our life that I would like for him to have short hair, we will see how that works out.

Other than that drastic move, our night last night was pretty mute. We watched (well I watched half...and Ron didnt finish it) The Proposal....then we both were sooo tired, so we just went to sleep. Ron was out like a light, but of course it took me a while to finally fall asleep. Tonight I have dinner with Ada to talk about the recent events in our lives...and Ron will probably hang out with some friends.

Toy Story 3

Last night we enjoyed a nice date night and spoiled ourselves and went and saw Toy Story 3 at the IMAX 3D. The movie was so good, and just reminded you of when you were little and having to give up your toys when you grew up, I started tearing up at the end...luckily I've kept my toys for my children. We both really enjoyed the movie.

After the movie we went to Meijer and got stuff for grilled cheese and tomato soup. Of course we had to get cereal for Ron, Lucky Charms this time, I swear that boy is addicted to cereal.

We have 24 more days until move in day. We are both on edge about the whole move, we are both just ready to get out of Eastway Court Apartments. I know Im ready to start fresh in a house that neither one of us have lived in before and make it ours. I know Ron feels the same way.

The Busy...not feel good weekend...

We decided that with moving that we needed to save all the money that we could so that we could get some stuff paid off and re-decorate our new apartment. So this weekend consisted of doing a lot of stuff, but for either free or little expense....

Friday: I was home sick all day with a terrible migrane that is still actually lingering today. I usually get them at least once a month, so I think its time to finally go to the doctor. So Friday night, after Ron worked a 1-9 shift, I made pork chops, pasta, and green beans...after that we watched a TERRIBLE movie on Netflix, called "I'm Reed Fish" Ron and I didn't understand the movie at all, so we kept making fun of silly things that came on the movie. After all just laying on the couch with your love laughing at movies.....what could be much better than that??

Saturday was a pretty eventful/lazy day. We needed to do some laundry so we spent the day at mom and davids....mom made lunch and we sat out on the deck while David took a nice nap. Mom and I played cards, which was a lot of fun, while Ron sat on the chair in the blistering heat and worked on his tan.

(Side note, I'm so thankful that my Mom and David approve of Ron. They enjoy his company and much rather ask how he is doing first than figure out if their own daughter is ok, I guess I'll take that though. I guess being the preferred child only lasts so long.....)

Saturday night we headed over to Abbey and Bens house for dinner. We had grilled chicken, salad and potato salad. Then for dessert Abbey made peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. We watched Sherlock Holmes, and had a fun night with the Hayes! I enjoyed meeting them and look forward to hanging out more!

Sunday we woke up early to go to Chatham Tap to watch The England team take on Germany....not going to lie Ron has turned me into a soccer fan during the 2010 World Cup. Its been interesting to me to see how there are other sports out there that people are so crazy about. Soccer being one of them, there were some fans at the Tap who were visiting from England, they treated soccer like Americans treat Football! I don't know it just amazed me how they came dressed like super fans, and still were good sports about the England loss to Germany (1-4) We then left there and went home. Ron went for a nice run, while I went and had lunch with Ada and Craig. I came home and sat outside for a while with my neighbor Donna. She made steaks, corn on the cob, and baked potatoes for Ron, Brittney and myself. It was very tasty! Ron went back to watching his Clint Eastwood movie marathon (don't ask me why...)

Tonight we are going to see Toy Story 3 at the IMAX, we are both really excited and love going on date nights with each other.

Fathers Day Weekend

Friday: We had a very interesting fathers day weekend. We had tried and tried for Friday to come up with a date night that would be cheap and inexpensive, we decided to do a winter themed date night. We had a potato soup that my dad makes during the winter time and just had some drinks. We enjoyed each others company while it was storming outside.

Saturday: We waited around all day for Kay who was coming to our house to look at some things, in the mean time we had went over to moms and did a load of laundry. In the mean time we called our new apartment complex and discovered that we still needed to put our $50 hold on the apartment to secure that it was ours. We took Mom and David with us and luckily we did, they only took Check or Money Orders, well since we dont have any checks, we were screwed. Mom had her check book in her purse, so we gave mom the cash and she wrote a check out for us. Mom to the rescue! We went and looked at our apartment and Mom and David fell in love with it. Just like we did the first time that we walked into it. We move July 23rd, which is only 32 days away! We cant wait!!
That night we ended up going over to TJ, Lance and Joeys house, Lance was celebrating his birthday and Joey is getting ready to move to Troy, Ohio for a new job, so we just went over to spend time with some friends and have a good time. We did and got home around 1:30am. Which was really late.

Sunday: Ron woke up around 5:45am, not feeling well at all. He was getting sick just about ever couple hours. We think it was from the meat that he was nibbling on all evening. It had been sitting out for a while. This gave us a good excuse though just to lay in bed and nap and watch tv. So thats what we did, until it was time to go to mom and davids for dinner. Aunt Sharon, Craig and his girlfriend Krissy were all there, it was a really good time, and luckily Ron started feeling better after raiding Moms medicine cabinet. (WE HAVE TO STOCK UP ON MEDS!) lol. We went to the grocery store after that and then went home and watched Shutter Island, which is a insanely good movie. Then we just passed out around midnight, and fell asleep...

Well lets go back a little ways....

April 14th 2010--AKA the day my life changed...

I was having some issues with my verizon wireless phone, needless to say I contacted verizon and they discovered that I was having issues with my battery they sent me back a new battery and that day I took the old battery into the Fed-Ex office here in Greenfield...
I walk into the store and was greeted by a very handsome man, who's name at this point I was unsure of. I took the box up to the counter which he had helped me, and the first thing out of my mouth was Im sorry I couldn't find the tape at work. In which he proceeded to tell me that it was a $5 charge to tape up a box, we both just laughed and he took the box did whatever he did, we had (what seemed) to be a fairly easy going conversation, he was soo easy to talk to, found out he was a graphic designer there at Fed-Ex and I just kept wanting ot know more, but knew my hour lunch break was fast approaching...but I wanted to badly to just give him my number and have him call me sometime about design work. Figured that was easy enough right...haha NOT!
So I got back to work and told Brittney about him, then I went and visited my sister in law and niece and nephew, and was telling her about this guy....Alisha proceeded to tell me that I needed to just go back in there and give him my number, well I couldn't just walk back in there and give him my number, Im way to chicken for that. But I had talked myself into doing it. I called back about an hour later and made up this story that I had a receipt to put in the box, and needed to place it in there before it shipped....
So I go back in after 5pm once I got off work, all ready to give this handsome boy my number, needless to say I gave him the paper (which was blank) and left. I DIDN'T GIVE HIM MY NUMBER! Alisha was very disappointed when I called her and dropped the bomb that I didn't give him my number. She ended up calling him and giving him my number...

The night felt forever, I kept thinking is he going to call, is he going ot text, what's going to happen?? About 2 hours later, I got the text I was waiting for.....

It was him, Ron!

That next day, he came over and watched a movie, everything was soo easy going, we ended up going to the casino with my neighbor and just walked around and held hands, sounds so middle schooler like, but we had a great time, we got home kinda late and then we ended up falling asleep on the couch. Got 1 hour of sleep but it was soo worth it.

Needless to say ever since then we have been inseparable. Hes been the best thing ever to come into my life. I never believed my parents when they said when you meet the one you will know, I defiantly know, believe them!

My parents love him to though, so basically hes stuck with me.
