The Busy...not feel good weekend...

We decided that with moving that we needed to save all the money that we could so that we could get some stuff paid off and re-decorate our new apartment. So this weekend consisted of doing a lot of stuff, but for either free or little expense....

Friday: I was home sick all day with a terrible migrane that is still actually lingering today. I usually get them at least once a month, so I think its time to finally go to the doctor. So Friday night, after Ron worked a 1-9 shift, I made pork chops, pasta, and green beans...after that we watched a TERRIBLE movie on Netflix, called "I'm Reed Fish" Ron and I didn't understand the movie at all, so we kept making fun of silly things that came on the movie. After all just laying on the couch with your love laughing at movies.....what could be much better than that??

Saturday was a pretty eventful/lazy day. We needed to do some laundry so we spent the day at mom and davids....mom made lunch and we sat out on the deck while David took a nice nap. Mom and I played cards, which was a lot of fun, while Ron sat on the chair in the blistering heat and worked on his tan.

(Side note, I'm so thankful that my Mom and David approve of Ron. They enjoy his company and much rather ask how he is doing first than figure out if their own daughter is ok, I guess I'll take that though. I guess being the preferred child only lasts so long.....)

Saturday night we headed over to Abbey and Bens house for dinner. We had grilled chicken, salad and potato salad. Then for dessert Abbey made peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. We watched Sherlock Holmes, and had a fun night with the Hayes! I enjoyed meeting them and look forward to hanging out more!

Sunday we woke up early to go to Chatham Tap to watch The England team take on Germany....not going to lie Ron has turned me into a soccer fan during the 2010 World Cup. Its been interesting to me to see how there are other sports out there that people are so crazy about. Soccer being one of them, there were some fans at the Tap who were visiting from England, they treated soccer like Americans treat Football! I don't know it just amazed me how they came dressed like super fans, and still were good sports about the England loss to Germany (1-4) We then left there and went home. Ron went for a nice run, while I went and had lunch with Ada and Craig. I came home and sat outside for a while with my neighbor Donna. She made steaks, corn on the cob, and baked potatoes for Ron, Brittney and myself. It was very tasty! Ron went back to watching his Clint Eastwood movie marathon (don't ask me why...)

Tonight we are going to see Toy Story 3 at the IMAX, we are both really excited and love going on date nights with each other.
