Surgery on the ankle...2 weeks late...

So April 25th I went in for surgery to repair my ligaments in my right ankle. Surgery went well...well until they gave me morphine and I got sick! But made it home, rested and enjoyed Ron being my little servant...well not really but still. He was very protective to say the least. I had to sleep on the couch for two weeks because he was afraid of me going up and down the stairs with out him there, which is very understandable....so heres the run down of the two weeks...

Monday & Tuesday was fine, slept most of the days thanks to my pain pills, had horrible pain these two days, but nothing that couldnt be tolerated. I was still very tired and groggy.

Wednesday & Thursday: Vomiting and Nausea. it was horrible. end of story.

The rest of the time I was smooth sailing, minimal pain, people visited, it was a nice relaxing 2 weeks at home. Marcie liked to think of herself as my nurse, waiting for every mission that was thrown her way.

it was a very uneventful, but very relaxing time. I am now back to work, my normal 40 hours a week, dreading every minute of it. Welcome to the life of being an adult I guess...
